Education Goal
To establish Korean Medicine's position in the world which contributes to the advancement of global public health, we aim to cultivate specialists that are able to develop and distribute applied treatment technology of Korean Medicine worldwide, promoting global communication.

| Meridianology and Applied Medicine | Strengths and weaknesses of Korean Medicine and Western Medicine are studied for an ideal encounter of the two. Applied areas of meridianology which are the basis for Korean Medical treatment are studied. We aim to produce research specialists that will take part in the development and industrialization of new treatment methods and diagnosis and treatment equipment for applied meridianology. |
| Sports Korean Medicine | In the ever-changing contemporary society, interest in advancement in health and sport activities is surging, as we can see in the expansion of the sport industry. Accordingly, demands for sports medicine of Korean Medicine are increasing as well. In this program, recent theories of sports medicine and Korean Medicine are studied to improve quality of life for patients, athletes and healthy people of various social backgrounds, through health advancement and disease management. We aim to produce practitioners and research specialists to take on this role. |
| Korean Medical Public Health Sciences | For an efficient advancement of public health, Korean Medical methodology and public health methodology are brought together to study diagnosis and treatment related to the function of the body, early diagnosis and prevention of epidemic disease and chronic degenerative disease such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Furthermore, we aim to cultivate research specialists that are able to systematically formulate and execute public health policies of Korean Medicine. |
| New Drug Development of Korean Medicine | To develop new medicinals of Korean Medicine, the efficacy of traditional medicines and verification of valid substance is studied by means of Western scientific methodology. New drug candidates are selected, of which efficacy evaluation is studied. Our goal is to cultivate research specialists committed to new drug development of KM. |
| Korean Medical Engineering | The Korean Medical Engineering program uses engineering technique to advance medicine. By applying contemporary scientific technique which is engineering to East Asian Medicine, various measurement techniques, automation techniques, signal processing techniques are applied to establish new diagnostic and treatment methods, upon which research on new medical instrument development is carried out. Specialists required in these tasks are educated. |
