Intro The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine treats pain in the musculoskeletal system such as spine and joints and paralysis caused by motor and sensory nerve impairment. The goal is to train specialists to cultivate the ability to diagnose, evaluate, treat and manage such conditions within their specialty. In addition, we educate leaders who can deal with various sports injuries through holistic, physiological balance management technique along with qualifications and competence as a leader within the team context. The field studies and educates treatment techniques for autoimmune diseases such as dietary therapy, along with therapies such as herbal medicine, Chuna, cupping, Daoyin, laser, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation instrument therapy, and dietary therapy as main tools for treatment.   
What we do 1) To prevent preventable complications in the early stages of illness, and to perform functional rehabilitation for impairment caused by disease

2) In terms of treatment, to preserve function of injured area as much as possible, while strengthening other parts of the body that was not injured, and to try to substitute the lost function, to treat each symptom and to education and train the patient of their condition to enable self-improvement

3) While the target for rehabilitation treatment can include all conditions of impairment, actual areas that rehabilitation specialists will come to face in the clinic are as following:

· Spine damage and spinal fluid disease
· Central and peripheral nerve damage
· Cerebral palsy
· Degenerative disease of the central nervous system
· Fracture, dislocation and sprain
· Connective tissue disease
· Lumbar disease and chronic pain
· Physiological imbalance that requires systematic control

4) Treatment modalities are herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, Chuna therapy which was developed from Anqiao, Daoyin-Qigong therapy which was developed from Daoyin, Meridian communication based on the nurturing and suppressing principle of the Five Phases, Warming of the meridians, Laser therapy, Electroterapy, Hydrotherapy, cupping and natural therapy developed from dietary cultivation methods in everyday life.
Prospects 1) Establishment of rehabilitation treatment for brain stroke, cerebral palsy, spinal damage patients
2) Establishment of rehabilitation treatment and physical therapy for spinal-joint disease and musculo-skeletal disorders
3) Establishment of clinical application and efficacy of natural therapies such as nurturing and cultivation, dietary therapy
4) Establishment of rehabilitation treatments in terms of practicality and efficacy
5) Development of new treatment method in Korean Medicine and its clinical application
